  2. Participation • There will be at least 7 participants to test implementation of authentication and SSO • Unsure about use metrics participation • Licensing metadata testing will occur with participants from GEOSS Data-CORE with DAB March 28-29, 2013

  3. Breakout Notes • During breakout, we went over the authentication and SSO use cases in diagram form • Many questions asked and answered • Authentication is first priority, authorization will be covered in AIP-7 • We discussed use metrics and the concept of a “GEOSS User” March 28-29, 2013

  4. Main Goals • Implementation of federated SSO solution that has minimal to no impact on the GCI. • Lightweight implementation requirements for data providers. • A solution that can evolve. • Generation of a showcase demo • Documentation for BPW, data providers and data users March 28-29, 2013

  5. Challenges • Making this a minor annoyance for data providers and data users. • Writing appropriate documentation. • Getting data providers and users to follow the guidelines. March 28-29, 2013
