  13. What Drives Student Success Engage with coaches and OCS early and often Follow through on your deliverables (i.e. Resume and Cover Letter deadlines) Attend at least one conference – most students who attended in their 2nd year wish they would have attended in their 1st year Engage with Faculty – not just your core professors! Lets hear from the 2014 and 2013 classes: “Attending an MBA Career Conference during my first year proved to be a huge differentiator in my success. Just as having real-world work experience helps bring the classroom concepts to life, having the conference experience makes all subsequent career-related programming much more impactful.” Andrew Cole, 2013 “Be self aware when you're networking -- and you should be networking all of the time! Be conscious of how you are being perceived by others.” Lily Matusiak, 2014  “Most first-years don't turn up for employer presentations. Whether the employer sponsors or has internship positions or not is secondary. International students should attend these events to learn and assimilate about the the US businesses and market place.” ShashikanthBadiga, 2013
