  2. A couple of things become apparent after walking around the Global shop show (and Las Vegas in general) for two days: retail truly is theater. And our industry has only begun to scratch the surface of what it takes to appeal to customers. From in-store touch-screens, videos (which are EVERYWHERE) and even a hologram to lighting, scenting and textures, this show gave retailers all the tools they need to create a true experience in the store.
