  2. Cave dwellings! • Cave dwellings are located in northern China. • They are also homes for more than 40 million people.

  3. Different kinds of cave dwelling! • The first one is called Cliffside dwellings , they are curved out of a side of a cliff. They are sometimes south faced, and are made out of stone and brick. • The second one is called Sunken courtyard, people dig about 10 meters deep, there rooms are dug off the main courtyard.

  5. Characteristics! • Some are built by rocks and adobe, some dwelling are built on sheltered ledges on the sides of a cliff; "the Anasazi built cliff dwellings in the southwestern United States"

  6. Where are the most cave dwellings located in! • Gila cliff dwelling is located in new Mexico , it was found as a mummified place. It was found by Henry B. Ailman. He is from Europe.
