Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization and houses some of the most magnificent images from all around the world including the Pyramids and Giza, the ancient temple of Luxor and the Great Sphinx. Most of the building in the country date back thousands of years. Though the main focus for a large part of the tourist communities lays on the great monuments alongside the Nile, the possibilities of Egypt travels extend up to snorkeling and diving along the Red Sea coast. Other tourist attractions in Egypt include camel tours on the mountains of Sinai, remote oasis tours, visiting the Coptic Monasteries on the Easter Desert and more. Here is a quick look at Egypt Tourism and all the information regarding Egypt tourism: Mosque of Ibn Tulun This mosque is one of the oldest in Cairo and was commissioned by Ahmad ibn Tulun, the Abbasid governor of Egypt. The mosque has been constructed around a courtyard and on four sides, it has covered halls. The minarets were built several centuries later. Dahab Dhar is 53 miles North from Sharm el-Sheikh, located on the gulf of Aqaba. It is on the southern tip of Sinai and used to be an isolated village earlier. One can indulge in activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, jeep trips, wind surfing and others at this destination. Siwa Oasis Located in the Libyan Desert, Siwa Oasis is one of the Egypt's isolated settlements including the ethnic Berbers. Siwa was an oasis vital for trading route earlier, as the natural springs and shade of palm trees gave respite to the travelers in the desert. But with the collapse of Roman Empire, Siwa began to decline and the tourism has become a vital source of income.

  3. Egyptian Museum Homing around 120,000 items of antiquities within, the Egyptian Museum is indeed one of the top attractions in Cairo. There are two floors within, ie the ground floor and the first floor. Highlights include the objects from the Tomb of Tutankhamen and the Royal Mummy Room containing 27 royal mummies from pharaonic times.

The water in the Red Sea is renowned for spectacular visibility and features some of the best and most exotic seascapes.
