All-American Girls Professional Baseball League • You will research the league and one player involved in it to create a giant baseball card for one of the players. • Next week, we’ll watch A League of Their Own. Although the movie characters are fictional, you might see some resemblance to your chosen player.

Baseball Card Requirements • Front of card: • Picture • Players name • The location of his/her hometown • The dates of his/her birth and death • Birthdate • Team • The years she played • Back of card: • Why was there a need for professional women’s baseball during World War II? • 3 unique pieces of information about the player • The statistics that best show her greatness • How did she fit requirements for the “ideal” for the All-American girl baseball player?
