  1. ‘In My Mind’by Chelsea Conroy ‘ A generation of Robbed or Robbers’

  2. ‘In My Mind’ The title I’ve chosen for my documentary is ‘In my mind’ this title just show the viewer that it has something to do with peoples opinions. ‘In my Mind’ is what youths think about the governments and medias opinion on them.

  3. Genre • The genre of my documentary is an expository documentary meaning the narration is voice intoned over footage, also revealing the truth. Narration holding the weight of explaining and opinions. The presenter of my documentary will be asking the youths question and they're opinions on the media and government say on the teens today. The presenter will be telling the audience the theme of the show and what to expect. • I’ll be asking young people questions on they’re thoughts on the governments opinions. “ If you had a chance to tell the government how you felt about your community what would you say? “

  4. Story As we all know the media and the government give youth a bad name “ a feral underclass’ as one newspaper mentioned. So for the documentary I’ve decided to ask youth their opinion on this and also to show elders and the public not every youth is a yob, and can be very respectful . Also to show them youths do attend college and do work. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2011/sep/07/uk-riots-met-chief-feral-underclass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faPJx7zmbUk&feature=related

  5. Characters So for my documentary I will need character's so I’ve decided to use my friends to interview and ask them questions with the theme being ‘ A Generation of Robbed or Robbers’. Also I’ll ask other youths they’re opinion on the theme also. However I’ll need other character because I’ll be filming around my area therefore random people and youths will be around.

  6. Access I generally think I have good access to what I'm filming here as my friends are willing to help me and also it's my area. The narrative will be voice over interviews while showing youth day-to-day activities.

  7. Audience • I've done some research into channel 4's audience and the average audience is between 16-34, Therefore the audience of my documentary will be 16-34. I generally think the audience for channel4  are youths, unemployed and the 'underachievers', also the employed but not so 'higher class'. I actually do think this documentary is suitable for their audience because it'll show other youths how they are portrayed and also adults.
