  2. Lion • The lion has big sharp claws. • It has sharp teeth. • It runs really fast to catch animals. • The lion is a carnivore .  

  3. Giraffe • The Giraffe is really tall so it doesn’t get eaten. • It has flat teeth so it can eat plants. • It has no claws so it doesn’t eat animals. • The giraffe is a herbivore.  

  4. Snake • The snake can eat big animals. • It uses venom to eat the animals. • It slithers fast to catch other animals. • The snake is a carnivore .   

  5. Plants in the African Grassland • The Grass can grow because it rains a lot. It also has a few trees and it can grow because it absorbs water from rivers near by. Cattails are a plant and it survives by growing next to ponds.

  7. Human Impact • A positive impact is when they visit they don’t take the animals home. • A negative impact is they cut the grass.
