    2. LA FAMILIA DE LAS CUERDAS En todos los instrumentos de esta familia, el sonido se produce por la vibracin de una cuerda que est tensada.

    3. Formas de vibracin de una cuerda Cuerda frotada. Cuerda pulsada. Cuerda percutida.

    4. CUERDA FROTADA Todos estos instrumentos tienen en comn que usan un ARCO , instrumento que produce un sonido continuo, el que hace que los instrumentos de este gnero sean parecidos entre si. La mayor diferencia que podemos encontrar est en su tamao y registro.

    5. EJEMPLOS: VIOLIN. VIOLA. VIOLONCELLO. CONTRABAJO.

    6. CUERDA PULSADA Los instrumentos de cuerda pulsada son aquellos en los que obtenemos el sonido pulsando la cuerda generalmente con la yema de los dedos y uas.Tambien se puede obtener el sonido con un pequeo artilugio llamado Pa, Ueta o Plectro.

    7. EJEMPLOS: GUITARRA. ARPA. LAUD.
