History of Captrain Polska • 2006– establishment of Captrain Polska as a subsidiary of the German rail operator – ITL International GmbH • 2007 – Captrain Polska obtained a licence for railway goods transport services and for providing the traction vehicles • 2008 – Captrain Polska received the European Safety Certificate; acquisition of 75% stake in ITL International GmbH by the French National Railway Company SNCF • 2009 – Captrain Polska obtained the safety certificate, Part B; on 23 April 2009 the first train was manufactured under own licence • 2010 –launch (as the first private operator) of a train through the Belorussian railway border crossing at Brest; acquisition of the remaining 25% stake in ITL International GmbH by SNCF, • 2011 – intensive development of Captrain Polska, reaching the turnover of ca. EUR12M per year • 2012 – completion of the incorporation of Captrain Polska into the structure of Captrain Deutschland, • 2013–restructuring of Captrain Polska (optimisation of the resources, modification of the strategy) • 2014 – agreement with Ukraine, renaming into Captrain Polska • 2015 – development of cooperation with ArcelorMittal and start of cooperation with PCC Intermodal • 2016 – 10 years of the company in Poland, agreement with Lithuanian Railways Captrain Polska Sp. z o.o. Offer of Captrain Polska • Rail transport of bulk commodities: coal, aggregates, containers, fuels, building materials, chemicals (including hazardous goods), biomass, cars, agricultural machinery • Specialist transport services: railway machinery, oversized shipments, rails (30m, 60m, 90m and 120m (please see next slides) • Traction services • Shunting works • Rental of rolling stock • Rental of locomotive drivers • Others: training of locomotive drivers, consulting services, minor repairs of rolling stock, etc.. Geographical offer of Captrain Polska covers entire Europe; and the company manages the facilities to guarantee the timely and effective implementation of every order.
