  2. ILGU Munster District List of Championships to be hosted by clubs in Munster: • ILGU Munster District Championships • Inter Club Singles & Foursomes • Girls Championships • Other District Championships • ILGU National Championships

  3. ILGU Munster District • ILGU Munster District Championships • Inter Club Singles & Foursomes Munster clubs are divided into 8 Zones (2 North, South, East & West)

ILGU Munster District Hosting the Singles matches: • 1st Round required 16 venues 2 per zone (approx 7hrs/venue) • 2nd Round requires 8 venues 1 per zone (approx 7hrs) • 3rd Round requires 4 venues by zone (approx 7hrs) • Quarter Finals requires 4 venues - split by zone (approx 4hrs per venue needed) • Semi Finals requires 1 venue • Finals require 1 venue

ILGU Munster District Hosting the Foursomes matches: • Senior Foursomes • 1st Round required 1 central venue - (approx 4hrs) • 2nd Round requires 1 central venue - (approx 4hrs) • Junior Foursomes • 1st Round requires 4/5 venues in different zones - (approx 4hrs) • 2nd & 3rd Round requires4 venues by zone - (4 match am 2hrs + 2 pm 1hr) • Quarter & Semi Finals - 1 central venue with a two tee start • Finals - 1 venue

  6. ILGU Munster District • ILGU Munster District Championships • Girls Championships Approx 8 Munster District championships run per year. Some are qualifiers for National Trophies: • Schools Senior & Junior Cup • May Fitzgibbon Trophy • Girls Inter Club Championship

  8. ILGU Munster District • ILGU National Championships Each year clubs in Munster are asked to host some National championships. IRISH SENIOR WOMEN’S CLOSE CHAMPIONSHIP Adare Manor Golf Club from 28th to 30th June

  9. ILGU Munster District • ILGU Munster District Tournaments Host Clubs required: Inter Club Singles -> 34 clubs Inter Club Foursomes -> 12 clubs Girls Championships -> 8 clubs Other Munster Events -> 9 clubs National Championships -> 1 club Total Munster Clubs 64 clubs

ILGU Munster District Singles: 1st Round - May 14 or 15 2nd Round - May 28 or 29 3rd Round - June 25 or 26 Quarter Finals - Jul 9 or 10 Semi Finals - Sat 23 July Douglas Senior and Junior Foursomes: Round 1 - July 2 or 3 Round 2 & 3 - July 16 or 17 Quarter / Semi Finals - Aug 14 Thurles Finals in Clonmel 26 and 27th Aug 2011
