  2. All About Rosa Parks Life Do you know Rosa Parks was a very important person? Rosa was born on February 4rth,1913 in Tuskgee, Alabama . Her parents names were James and Leona Mcauly. Her brothers name was Slyvester. Rosa was very sick as a child and she went to a 1 room schoolhouse to learn. One day Rosa was riding a bus and a white man got on and he said he wanted Rosa`s seat. Rosa refused to get up and she got arrested.

Goals and Accomplishments We remember Rosa because she was an important part of stopping segregation along with Martin Luther King JR. and many other people who stopped segregation, especially Rosa. Rosa helped to make America better than what it used to be for the future. That’s why we should remember and honor her.

  4. Fun Facts About Rosa Parks Rosa is remembered as the Mother of the Civil Rights Movement and she was given the Medal of Honor and the Congressional Gold Medal. Rosa joined the N.A.A.C.P on the year 1943 and wrote letters and articles for them. When 42 she was a seamstress. This is why Rosa was an important women.
