  2. Avantika University Avantika is India’s first Design Centered University, promoted by MIT Group of Institutions, Pune, which has a proven legacy of 35 years in the field of higher education. The university is established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

  3. Avantika is conceived to be a distinctive learning center. The spirit of creativity and innovation complemented by design thinking and intellectual boldness is the central theme at Avantika.

  4. What is Learning Pedagogy? Learning Pedagogy content knowledge is a type of knowledge that is unique to teachers, and is based on the manner in which teachers relate their pedagogical knowledge(what they know about teaching) to their subject matter knowledge (what they know about what they teach).

  6. Activity Based Learning Activity based learning is a subset of Experiential Learning where students come together in one class and learn at their own pace through teacher-facilitated exercises. Activity based learning or ABL describes a range of pedagogical approaches to teaching. 

  7. Blended Learning Blended learning is a formal or informal education program that combines online digital media with traditional classroom methods. It requires the physical presence of both teacher and student, with some element of student control over time, place, path, or pace. Blended learning is also used in professional development and training settings.

  8. Flipped Classroom Flipped classroom is a pedagogical model in which the typical lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed.The flipped classroom model includes short video lectures which are viewed by students at home before the class session, while the in-class time is devoted to exercises, projects, or discussions.

  9. Project Based Learning Project Based Learning allows students to gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period to investigate and respond to an engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge. Objective of Project based learning is to increase the critical thing and problem solving skills.

  10. Scenario based learning (SBL) uses interactive scenarios to support active learning strategies such as problem-based or case-based learning. It normally involves students working their way through a storyline, usually based around an ill-structured or complex problem, which they are required to solve. 

  11. Conclusion Avantika University is the first Design Centered University in India. It focuses on giving pedagogical knowledge. Avantika University is the MIT Pune’s Campus in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
