  15. The Plan Communication • 3 morning meetings per week • Question box • E-mail newsletter • Employee participation in updating SOP’s • Employee assistance with design of training program

  16. The Plan Training • New employees will attend volunteer training • Increases classroom time before hands-on work • More management involvement in training rather than peer to peer • Some experienced staff members will be designated as trainers

  17. The Plan Teamwork • Increased cross training • More people will be able to move between departments to help where needed. • Staffing will be based on number of animals needing care each day.
