Mistakes Beginners Should Avoid for Achieving Yoga Nirvana

Many yoga therapy courses in Rishikesh, India offer personalized yoga courses for individuals. This is because body conditions vary between individuals. Hence, it is futile to compare one’s progress with someone else’s in the same group. The body will take its own sweet time to become flexible, meaning some individuals may be able to perform complicated poses (aasans) easily while others may have to struggle with the same ones for a while.

  2. Mistakes Beginners Should Avoid for Achieving Yoga Nirvana Pushing The Body Without Proper Awareness • Many individuals tend to think that they can practice yoga easily just because they have been exercising regularly. While some of the positions offered in yoga therapy courses tend to be easy enough for beginners, others that focus on the inner muscles and tissues are much more complicated and need to be practiced only with proper knowledge. As such, a beginner who pushes his/her body to the limit in a bid to master it overnight is only inviting trouble in the form of injuries and tears.

  3. Mistakes Beginners Should Avoid for Achieving Yoga Nirvana Comparing With Others • Many yoga therapy courses in Rishikesh, India offer personalized yoga courses for individuals. Hence, while opting for yoga therapy courses in India, one will need to focus on his/her body alone and not that of the person next to him/her for constant comparisons.

  4. Mistakes Beginners Should Avoid for Achieving Yoga Nirvana Being Inconsistent in Practice • Yoga therapy training requires one to be consistent in his/her practice. It may be hard to stick to a rigid schedule on a daily basis owing to professional and personal commitments. In no time, yoga practice becomes a fortnight, then a weekly and finally only a monthly affair. This inconsistent practice will only have an individual start from scratch every other time he/she comes back to yoga again. Naturally one is forced to start again from the bottom at yoga therapy classes. It is highly recommended to stick to a consistent schedule when it comes to practicing yoga, with two or three sessions per week being a recommended routine.

  5. Mistakes Beginners Should Avoid for Achieving Yoga Nirvana Being Impatient with Results • Like exercise and dieting, it will take time for the results of yoga to show results on the body. No matter how many yoga therapy classes one attends, he/she will be given the same answer. It is customary for individuals to grow impatient while waiting for results. Many even consider leaving it when they find out results are subtle and take time to show. The truth is that yoga works on different levels for different individuals. So while results may be quick for some, they may take time to be more visible for others. Growing impatient early and letting go of the practice altogether will not be of any use.
