  2. Registration! • If you have not yet turned in your registration, place it in the box at the end of the meeting • If you forgot your form or money, please bring it Monday!

  3. Reminders • Summer Hours (15) • No erasing Sign ups • Must keep track of own hours!

  4. Events • Cottage Elementary Carnival • Tonight @ Cottage Grove Elem. 4:45-8:15pm • Still spots available even though no sheet! • Bailey Elem. Kindness Retreat • Today @ Woodbury Lutheran Church, 9am-3pm • If you want to go, have your parent call the attendance office to give their permission 768-4407 • Parent’s Night Out • Fri. Oct. 15th, Royal Oaks Elem. 5:30-9:15pm • Pullman Elem. Carnival • Sat. Oct. 16th, Pullman Elem. 3:30-7:30pm • Monster Mash • Fri. Oct. 29th, WHS Activity Center, 5:30-8:30pm • Dress in a kid friendly costume if you’d like

Events Cont. • Tues/Thurs Tutoring • Tutor every Tues. and Thurs. @ Woodbury Lutheran Church, 3:15-5pm • Tutoring committee will be responsible for volunteering • Halloween Food Drive/UNICEF • Trick or Treat for Local Food shelf on Oct. 31st • Collect non perishable food items- 10 items=1 KC hour (limit 3 hours) • Include Name and Number of Items when handing in • OR • Collect monetary donations in orange UNICEF box - $10=1 KC hour (limit 3 hours) • Include Name and Final amount when handing in

Committees • Role of Committees • Required participation to letter • Blood Drive: Jason Lu • JDRF: Heidi Vanderpan • Bedtime Story Hotline: Sheri Li • Tutoring* • Poster: Natalya Thakur/Eyerusalem Lemma • Scrapbook: Eli Radtke • Video* • 15 members per committee, Sign ups on board • Starred committees need a head, if interested in heading a committee, put a star next to your name on sign up sheet • Responsible for coordinating events • Plans committee meetings

Representatives • Each grade has one representative voted in to be a part of board • Help with decision making • Run events • Head committees • Elections will be held at next meeting on Oct. 15th • If interested in running, sign up will be on board • Have a simple speech prepared for the 15th to say why you would be a good rep

  8. Fall Rally • Natalya • Fall Rally- Kick off convention for District Board • Held in Fergus Falls, MN Sat. Nov. 6th-Sun. Nov. 7th • (Current) Cost is $80 a person. Includes: • Lodging and food • T-Shirt, pin, program • Leadership training, forums • Dance • Counts as 10 KC hours • If interested, talk to me after meeting

  9. T-Shirts • T-Shirt design is same as 2 years ago with reversed colors • Order forms will be online and on the board sometime next week • Cost TBD (will be included on order form) probably ~$10 • Forms due Fri. Oct. 15th
