  2. Whatta hell’s tuning? • Sintonizar nada mais é do que ajustar a frequência de resonância da antena que será usada para fazer a comunicação com os transponders. Sendo assim, o transponder tem de ser do tipo referente a frequência usada pela antena. • Foram estudadas duas soluções de sintonização: RI-ACC-008B (Antenna Tuning Board - ATB) RI-ACC-ATI2 (Antenna Tuning Indicator - ATI)

Antenna Tuning Board(RI-ACC-008B)Introdução (1/3) • Esse é o sintonizador recomendado para a Antena Remota(RI-RFM-008B). • Vantagem: permite uma distância de até 120 metros entre o Reader e a antena, via cabo Twin-Ax(symmetrically shielded antenna cable) • A frequência de resonância deve ser ajustada para 134.2 kHz(a mesma dos transponders HDX/FSK)

Antenna Tuning Indicator (RI-ACC-ATI2)Introdução (1/3) • Esse é o sintonizador recomendado para a Antena Padrão(RI-RFM-007B). • Vantagem: além do ajuste da frequência de resonância, permite o ajuste do sinal RXSS, que é usado para sincronização de duas ou mais antenas numa mesma área de leitura. Sem o ATI o ajuste do RXSS é feito através de um potenciometro que vem dentro do RF Module e o ajuste é mais complicado. • Desvantagem: permite uma distância de apenas 10 metros entre o Reader e a antena, via cabo Twin-Ax. • A frequência de resonância deve ser ajustada para 134.2 kHz(a mesma dos transponders HDX/FSK)

  7. Antenna Tuning Indicator (RI-ACC-ATI2)Sintonizando (2/3) • Tune the antenna to resonance as follows: • Set the switch on the ATI to the position 'RESONANCE TUNING'. The RF Module will start transmitting. • If the left LED (red) indicates 'OUT': - On the S2000 RFM - screw the ferrite core out (with the plastic screwdriver provided). - On the Power RFM - decrease the capacitance. • If the right LED (red) indicates 'IN': - On the S2000 RFM - screw the ferrite core in (with the plastic screwdriver provided). - On the Power RFM - increase the capacitance. • When the green LED indicates 'OK', the antenna is tuned to resonance.
