  2. Participating in a political party • Young people can have a big impact on the platforms of political parties, especially if they work together. Platforms get built in working groups in a forums of different issues, Like environment or youth criminals. You can join these groups and have your say. You can vote.

  3. Forming political parties • Anyone 18 years of age or older can form a new federal political party For the name of the party to appear on ballets during a elections, the party must: • Have the endorsement of at least 250 eligible voters in Canada. • Have a name. • Run at least one candidate during a federal election.

  4. Question What is a value? What are Social Programs? What is Taxation? Values are beliefs about what’s important. They influence our opinion and decisions. Services provided by the government to reduce economic inequalities and promote the well-being of citizens. The level of Taxation in Canada is average among Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries. Approximately 70% of the Canadian government's income comes from taxation, the rest from tariffs, fees, and investments.

  5. Question What values shape the economic policies of political parties on social programs and taxation? The values that we think are the most important shape the economic policies because more people will go to these things so the government will make more money to pay their workers. They will tax the items that most people buy because they will make more money from that too.

  6. Question How do decisions about social programs and taxation in Canada and the U.S. attempt to meet the needs of citizens? The needs of citizens are not social programs, the needs of citizens are food, shelter, clothing, love and water. Canada and the U.S. Attempt to meet citizens needs by giving them activity and other things we feel we need the use our taxes to give us more luxurious thing and more memorable times.
