  2. Mick Mack • 1.He lived in the wapanaki confederacy. • 2.He is originally live in the in the Nova Scotia/ new Brunswick. • 3.They also settled in Quebec, Newfoundland, and Maine. • 4.Today they live in Canada border and North eastern Maine.

  3. Mick Mac • 1.The Indian community is a reservation for them only. • 2.It is legally in their control. • 3.There tribe name is the mi’kmaq. • 4.In Canada they call it bands or first nation. • 5.They have there own government , and laws.

  4. Mi’kmaq • 1.The chief is saqamaw or sakmaw. • 2.The chief is chosen by the council members. • 3. Often they chose the last chiefs nephew. • 4. They are now choose by a election.

  5. The language • 1. The mi’kmaq language said – Mi’kmawi’simk. • 2.Mi’kmaq words, kwe and wela’lin.

  6. The children • 1.They go to to school, fish, hunt, chores, and play.

  10. What kind of food do they eat • 1. Caribou, moose seals, walrus • 2.whales, berries, squash, and maple syrup.

  11. The children 1.they would go to school,help around the house, hunt, fish, chores, and that caused less time playing.

  12. What the men and women do • 1. They did hunt, fish , sometimes off to war , built the house, gathered plants to eat , picked herbs to make medicine.

  13. What were there homes like? • 1.they lived in wigwams which were made out of wood and birch bark.
