Project Overview Second graders are learning about citizenship, government and timelines to create a movie about Patriotism to show at a performance at Camp Atterbury in celebration of Veteran’s Day. Students are also learning songs about patriotism in Music class to perform at Camp Atterbury.

Discuss How Government Works and read pages 1, 2, 3 • Read Lesson 1 “We the People.” • Tuesday • Finish Lesson 1, “We the People.” • Wednesday • Read Lesson 2: “Three Parts of Government.” • Thursday • Finish Lesson 2. • Friday • Read Lesson 3: “Our Country’s Capital.” Project Connection Leadership Citizenship Government What will happen if… I don’t get it.
