The Wushantou Reservoir stretches across Lioujia, Guantian, Danei and the Dongshan township, is located on the Tsengwenhsi branch of Guantian brook, for as an off-stream reservoir, the water source mainly directs from Tsengwenhsi, was directs to take electricity generation from the reservoir. Completed at 1980, by the Japanese technician Hachi Ta Yu Ichi design, which is said to be the earliest water conservancy facilities in Taiwan, and deserve as the national treasure for the world-level “hydraulic fill dike”, is one of the first three big hydraulic engineering, also once being selected by the University of Taiwan construction cultural and educational foundation and YU JHAO JHONG foundation to list it as one of the ten big construction historical sites in Taiwan. The Wushantou Reservoir full water level area approximately has 1,300 hectares, 集水區 the area amounts to 6,000 hectares, the reservoir stored water mainly uses Dong-Ko to direct the adjustment of reservoir putting the water volume.
