  2. 1. Sólo anhelo, Cristo amado, en tus leyes caminar; siempre hacer lo que es tu agrado, tus acciones imitar. Mas soy débil y cargado con mi mucha iniquidad, pues, oh Dios, yo he faltado a tu santa voluntad.

  3. 2. Ten piedad, oh Cristo amado, de este pobre pecador, Límpiame de mi pecado, oh, bendito Salvador. No permitas que me venza otra vez el tentador. ¡Oh mi Dios!, con gran vergüenza te lo pido por tu amor.

  4. 3. Al que pide, es tu promesa darle lo que ha menester. Yo anhelo tu pureza, tu limpieza, tuyo ser. Y en tu reino, cuando vengas, ten memoria aún de mí, que por hijo tú me tengas y me lleves junto a ti.
