Breakfast • Breakfast is served everyday in the classroom. • Make sure you get here on time so that you have time to eat. • When you have finished eating make sure you throw ALL of your trash in the black plastic bag. • This is NOT the time to eat chips, drink soda, etc. that you have bought from the store. These snacks should be placed in your locker and can be taken out at lunch time.

  6. Bathrooms You will have FOUR opportunities to use the restroom throughout the day! *After 2nd Period *After 4th Period *During Lunch *After electives If you need to use the bathroom between those times ask a staff member and someone will escort you!

  7. Lockers - Lockers will be given out within the first three weeks of school. - ALL (including backpacks) of your personal belongings should be placed in your locker when you first arrive at school in the morning. LOCKER TIMES *In the morning before school *Before lunch *Before electives (if you have gym) *After school (THIS IS A SCHOOL WIDE RULE) LOCKERS ARE A PRIVLIDGE!

  8. Cell Phones DO NOT BRING THEM INTO THE CLASSROOM! If you bring your phone to school you must be placed in your locker when you arrive at school in the morning! If your phone is seen by any staff member it WILL be taken!! THIS IS YOUR WARNING!! We do not want to hear that “you did not know”

  9. Uniforms Uniforms are to be worn EVERYDAY!!! SHIRT MAROON or BLACK polo. Must have a collar. DOES NOT have to have the school logo. Pants KAHKI or BLACK Can be shorts, pants, or skirt. You MUST wear close toed shoes! NO sandals or flip-flops!

  12. Hoodies and Hats Hoodies and hat may be worn to school however they are NOT ALLOWED in the classroom. They should be placed in your locker upon arrival to school! SCHOOL RULE!

Computers *When using a computer during earned free time make sure you are ONLY on appropriate sites. *NO Facebook or Twitter are allowed in school! • *If you are caught on ANYTHING inappropriate that following consequences will occur. • 1st offense= Loss of computer for the remainder of the day • 2nd offence= Loss of computer for 1 week. • 3rd offence= Loss of computer for 1 month. • 4th offence=Loss of computer for the remainder of the school year.

  14. SCHOOL BUS If you misbehave on the school bus there will be consequences at school. Those consequences COULD include: -Loss of points -Loss of privileges (electives, free time, etc.) -Removal from the school bus for a certain amount of time. REMEMBER: There are many people on the roads. When you act up on the bus the driver can not focus on the road and getting you home safely. This can cause not only you and your friends to get hurt but other people as well. DON’T be selfish! Act appropriately on the school bus.

  15. Points & Levels OFF LEVEL 3 days of 70% or better LEVEL ONE 5 days of 75% or better LEVEL Two 10 days of 80% or better LEVEL Three 15 days of 85% or better Honors 20 days of 90% or better

  16. Can I lose my level? • YES!!! • There are several incidents’ that cause you to lose your level. They include: • -Out of Area • -Fighting • -Suspension • Constant misbehavior on the school bus • -Unable to make level points for three days in a row

  20. When is lunch and where do we eat? Lunch is after period 4, and we eat in the classroom Where is the timeout room? There is NO timeout room in middle school. If you need to take a break from the classroom simply ask a staff member. If you need to be removed from class for disrupting you will lose the remainder of the days privileges. Do I stay in this one room all day long? NO you will travel between two behavior rooms 208a and 202b. When can I go to electives, the restroom, and other places on my own without a staff escort? When you have reached level 4 and demonstrated you are able to maintain appropriate school wide behavior.

  21. What time do we get out of school? Monday-Thursday @ 2:45 Friday @ 1:20 Am I “STUCK” in the behavior program all year long? NO! Your behavior will determine whether or not you are ready to take classes outside of the behavior classroom. Can I stay back from elective? Yes, it is possible to stay back from electives. Common reasons for staying back include disrupting class time, failure to complete work, or overall behavior. If you stay back from electives you will have an assignment to complete from the elective that you are missing. Will I get homework? YES!!!!
