Running Arc Magnets to 5500A. New Ramp needs to be completed now so we can check it. 50 min reserved for main ps DCOC and current limit adjustments if necessary. 5 min to bring p.s.’s to PARK and change ramp 15 min to ramp only the dipole ps’s to Injection.

  1. Running Arc Magnets to 5500A • New Ramp needs to be completed now so we can check it. • 50 min reserved for main ps DCOC and current limit adjustments if necessary. • 5 min to bring p.s.’s to PARK and change ramp • 15 min to ramp only the dipole ps’s to Injection. • 20 min to ramp from Injection to Store with dipole ps’s only. • 30 min to ramp from Store(5050A) to 5600A in 50A steps. • 30 min to recover from one QLI if we do trip the main ps’ on a DCOC. • 30 min to do one Au11v1 ramp at the end to make sure ring is ok. • 6kA Quench Switches in 10A will be close to trip limit but we should be ok at 5500A. • Total = 3 Hrs, Assumes no mistakes, no problems, no quenches, except for one DCOC on the main p.s.’s

Running RHIC 3.8% higher (not DX Magnets) • New Ramp needs to be completed now so we can check it. • New Ramp keeps dx magnets below training levels. • No adjustments needed for Main ps’s or Quench Switches at 10A • 5 min to change ramp name at PARK • 10 min to ramp from Park to Injection • 20 min to ramp from Injection to Store • 15 min to go from Store(5050A) to 3.8% above (5242A) in 50A steps • 30 min to do one Au11v1 ramp at the end to make sure ring is ok. • Total = 1.3Hrs, Assumes no mistakes, no problems, no quenches
