Objectives of this pilot Capacity Building Programme • Development of modern, demand-oriented consultation and training capabilities • Strengthen the DMI and cooperating organisations in their palette of networking and cooperation, management of human resource development and awareness raising targeting: • Administrative bodies involved (regulatory and local authorities) • The management of a selection of (Eco-) Industrial Estates • Selection of Major Accident Hazard Industries (MAH industries).

Expected Results of the Pilot Project • The developed Human Resource Development programmes will be summarised and condensed to provide suggestions for standards and best practice examples. • An HRD-management platform will include announcement of training courses and services and an extensive documentation of material for industrial disaster risk management (incl. a start for an e-Learning platform) • The training management will be substantially strengthened

Expected Results of the Pilot Project • Networking and Train the Trainers components will ensure the dissemination of competencies • The activities will contribute substantially to the further development of policies and should lead to a formalisation of the capacity building process that can be adopted and multiplied. • Practical testing: experience gathering through mock drills and their follow up

  6. Fields of Activities: The Human Resource Development programmes in iDRM The HRDP-Web platform will be the surface of a “Content Management System”. The platform is optimised as a Management & Information System for the organisation of capacity building programmes in industrial Disaster Risk Management iDRM … with public and internal user / authors sections. http://dmibpl.metatraffic.de/
