  1. Act Local Service ProjectBenefitting the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) By: JaceDierking

  2. Lemonade for Diabetes I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when I was 21 months old. Which means my pancreas doesn’t work right. This means my body can’t process sugar like everyone else. So when I eat I have to have a shot of insulin. There is no cure for Diabetes yet and I will have it my whole life. I chose to do my Act Project for the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.) The JDRF is working hard every day raising money to find a cure for Diabetes.

  3. I chose to have a lemonade stand with my friend Chandler to raise money for the JDRF

  4. We sold pink lemonade and chips. We made signs showing the money would go to a good cause.

  5. We had a lot of people stop by and donate.

  6. We also had a lot fun doing it!

  7. We worked hard to get lots of business.

  8. We raised $50 for the JDRF
