  3. Drug Source Most inhalants are everyday, household products which means anyone can easily buy them This makes it hard to prevent people (especially teenagers) from using them Examples of inhalants would be things like spray paint, paint thinner, and even some types of glue

  4. Trends Because inhalants are regular household products, they are sold in the USA They do not come from other countries because of this

  5. Users Users of the drug, inhalants, are usually in the age group of about 10 years old to 16 years old Most inhalant users are young because that’s one of the easiest drugs for young people to get Anyone can get inhalants because they are sold in everyday stores to anyone

  6. How It’s Used There are three ways to use inhalants: they can be… Sniffed: inhaled directly from the can Huffed: sprayed onto a rag then inhaled from the rag or… Bagged: sprayed into a bag then the bag is held to the face and inhaled

  7. Consequences In Georgia if you are caught with general inhalants you can be fined or even put in jail Inhalants are also classified under the DUI law

  8. Addictiveness After using inhalants, they can become very addictive Some teens become psychologically dependent on inhalants to feel good, or deal with stress
