Expansion of Co-op • As co-op expands– so will continuous intake co-op • Various forms of CIC is occurring in our board already; • It’s occurring on other boards as well: Halton District School Boar, Toronto Catholic District School Boards (focus of a workshop at OCEA 2009) • Do you agree that CIC is for at risk co-op only?

  14. Offsite versus In-house CIC We want to hear from you… Consider the following: • Do you have the staff? • Do you have room? • Why can it work? • Is this in the best interest of the student?

We want to hear from you… Using the graphic organizer provided, discuss in small groups the 3 questions provided Choose a facilitator and recorder for your discussion • What is the profile of a student who would best benefit from CIC? • How might CIC work in your school? • What challenges do you anticipate in implementing a CIC program in your school?
