16. 16 USAG Humphreys is the centerpiece of the future stationing plan for U.S. installations in Korea. The planned realignment of U.S. forces in Korea will be accomplished in large part by expanding and redeveloping USAG Humphreys into a world class, modern installation that becomes an assignment of choice for U.S. forces. You can see that USAG Humphreys will soon triple in size.
This Concept Plan outlines the broad direction, goals, and objectives of the development plan to accomplish transformation of USAG Humphreys to meet the stationing requirements for U.S. forces in Korea.
The ROK Government has already granted permission to USFK for exclusive use of parcel 1. Other parcels will become available within the next few months.

17. Unlike many of the small camps and posts that were built and expanded on a year by year basis, Humphreys is being designed and built from a complete concept that has been developed well in advance of construction. Like facilities and like functions will be contained in areas that have been grouped by mission, housing, and support.Unlike many of the small camps and posts that were built and expanded on a year by year basis, Humphreys is being designed and built from a complete concept that has been developed well in advance of construction.
