Background on Haddonfield In New Jersey • Borders Cherry Hill,10 Minutes from Philadelphia • South Jersey Group II (1 Smallest – 5 Biggest) • One of the smallest Group II Schools in the State of NJ • Traditionally a High Achieving Academic School District • A proud tradition in the CC Sports • Playing Football Since 1893

Background on Haddonfield In New Jersey • Last Sectional/State Championship was in 1970 (Selected by Newspapers) • In 2009 = 37 Players (Sophomores thru Seniors) Won 10 Games and Lost in the NJSIAA SJ Group II Finals • In 2010 = 29 Players (Sophomores thru Seniors) Won 1st Sectional/State Championship since advent of playoff system (11 wins) • In 2011 = 34 Players (Sophomores thru Seniors) Won 1st Outright Conference Championship since 1964 (11 wins) • In 16 years we have 11 playoff appearances (9 Semi-Finals, 6 Championship Games, and 4 Titles)

QB Development 2017 - 2014 - 2013 - 2010 SJ GROUP II STATE CHAMPIONS General Thoughts On Developing A QB In Multiple Sets • QB must have an Overwhelming Intense Desire to Succeed • Design a system for our QB • What they know…is more important then what we know • If…QB has a great release with poor results = Fix it! (Under Armour Commercial) • If…QB has a poor release but produces = Leave It Alone • What freedoms will we give our QB (Audible, Choice Plays, Locked Plays, etc…) • Why are we doing this? • What is the Down & Distance? • What is the concept of this formation? • What is the concept of the play? (Pass Progression, Stanford, etc…) • Does our QB know what we the “Staff” is looking for in this set? • Did we as a staff teach this, or simulate this situation? • Empower our QB…in Huddle, etc…”Volume Reflects Confidence”

HADDONFIELD FOOTBALL 2017 – 2014 - 2013 - 2010 SJ GROUP II STATE CHAMPIONS Our Offense • We Used 50 Formations • Includes Different Backfield Tags (Alignment of Backs) • We Used 3 Different Pre-Snap Shifts • Jump • Scat • Trade • We Used a Combination of 19 Different Motions • Zip, Zap, Short, Slide, Arc, Stud • Run, Fly, Fuzz, Fox, Orbit, Yo-Yo, Dart Player who ran these motions varied There Is No Substitute For Film Study
