  2. What were they? • The Aztecs were people of Asian origin that began their civilization small and nomadic. They then became large and agrarian. • They were a polytheistic people.

  3. What did they look like? • The Aztec people had bronze-colored skin and were usually very stalky • They had black hair and eyes • Women averaged at 4’8” • Men averaged at 5’2”

  4. What did they do? • The young men were priests or warriors. The warriors took on jobs like farmer or feather maker as they got older. • The women were priestesses or house keepers

  5. Punishments • The main punishments for children were holding their faces in chili smoke or pricking their skin with spines.

  6. Reflection • I learned that the Aztec punishments were extremely harsh. • I learned about myself as a learner that I do better on websites if they’re all that I do.
