  2. America First Party • - American government should only focus on America • Don’t get entangled with other nations • Border Security is vital

  3. America First Cont… • Believes that every life is important • Wants the American economy to only rely on itself, not foreign trade/investment etc • Traditional Family Values

  4. The Constitution Party • Very narrow view of the Declaration and Constitution- We should follow the Constitution exactly with no interpretation • Based on the bible and biblical values • Believes every life is important • Government should be minimal (only enough to function) • Everyone has to be responsible for themselves

  5. The Green Party • Wants to protect the environment • Does not approve of violence • Politics should be handled on the local level

  6. The Green Party Cont… • Private Interests (businesses- think of the Shell Oil Example) are not ok • Uses Grassroots Politics to spread the Green Party message

  7. The Libertarian Party • Wants as little government as possible • Businesses and Consumers are much better suited to make important decisions than politicians • Believes in non-intervention and wants little to no restrictions on trade

  8. The Tea Party • Wants as few taxes as possible • Government (and people) need(s) to do better managing money- We should only spend what we can afford, not borrow additional funds • Free Trade and limited government are key

  9. Democratic Party • Government should not interfere in private matters covered by the Bill of Rights • Every person should be given an equal opportunity to succeed • Government needs to help those that cannot help themselves

  10. Republican Party • Government Power should be limited • Morality needs to be upheld by the government • Constitution should be followed very closely • Strong military is key to protecting American interests

  11. Political Spectrum Democrat Republican Liberal Conservative • Big government • Equal opportunities for all • Morality is not for the government to decide • “Traditional” Values • Less Government • Fewer Restrictions • Strong Military Moderate
