She also worked as a Director of Community Substance Abuse Services and was responsible for $50 million of citywide brokered treatment programs and over 50 employees.
Barbara Garcia completes her Bachelors of Science, Community Studies Education in 1984 from the University of California, Santa Cruz, California. She also completed her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, California.
Barbara Garcia also worked as Deputy Director of Health and Director of Health at Department of Public Health, City and County of San Francisco.
