  4. I Greci avevano poche possibilità di praticare l’agricoltura, perché il territorio della Grecia è aspro e montuoso.

  5. I Greci vivevano nelle città-stato, dette polis.

  6. In alto, nella polis, c’era l’acropoli , dove si trovavano i templi dedicati agli dei.

  7. I Greci si riunivano nella piazza per prendere le decisioni e per le feste.La piazza si chiamava agorà

  8. I Greci amavano gli spettacoli. Per questo ogni città aveva un teatro

  9. I Greci, a causa dell’aumento della popolazione e della mancanza di grano, arrivarono con le navi sulle sponde della Sicilia e fondarono le colonie.

  10. LE COLONIE GRECHE Le colonie fondate in Sicilia sono numerose ed erano indipendenti dalla madre-patria.

  11. Tutte le colonie divennero ricche e si abbellirono di tanti splendidi monumenti.

  12. Teatro di Siracusa Templi di Agrigento Dei tanti monumenti rimangono molti resti anche oggi.
