  1. Driving Directions for getting to BAWA Travelling from South Bristol. Leave the city heading North on the M32. Exit the M32 at junction 1 to join the A4174 towards Filton. Cross over 2 roundabouts, the 2nd roundabout crossing the A38, onto Southmead Road Go through 2 sets of traffic lights, the BAWA sports field will be on your right-hand side Turn right into the driveway at the far end of the field. From the East Exit the M4 at Junction 19 onto the M32. Exit the M32 at junction 1 to join the A4174 towards Filton. Cross over 2 roundabouts, the 2nd roundabout crossing the A38, onto Southmead Road Go through 2 sets of traffic lights, the BAWA sports field will be on your right-hand side Turn right into the driveway at the far end of the field. Avon Branch (Formerly South West Branch) From the West Exit the M4 at Junction 20 onto the M5 (South West). Take the next exit from the M5 at Junction 16 onto the A38 south, towards Bristol. After approximately 3 miles you will reach a roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Southmead Road. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights, the BAWA sports field will be on your right-hand side. Turn right into the driveway at the far end of the field. Afterapproximately 3 miles you will reach a roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Southmead Road. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights, the BAWA sports field will be on your right-hand side. March 2nd - Quality in SocietyGambia and Avon Fire Services in Partnership (GAFSIP), was the inspiration of our speaker for this evening ex-Avon Chief Fire Officer, Dave Hutchings, (no connection with our Chairperson) who witnessed a fatal road traffic collision when holidaying in The Gambia in 1991. GAFSIP sends equipment that Avon no longer uses to The Gambia and provides vital training to keep their fire and ambulance services running.The success of this long term working partnership is evident, not only in The Gambia Fire and Ambulance Service (GFAS), but also through the provision of humanitarian aid.
