  2. About Us • Monroe Township Builders Club is a service learning club that meets one or two times a month. The club consists of students at Monroe Township Middle School. Students in the club are in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. There are over 50 students that are active members. During the school year we try to do one activity a month as well as sponsor several year round activities.

  4. Ongoing Events • Pop Tab collection during lunch for Ronald McDonald House • Toiletries for senior home • After school snack sales

  5. September 2011 • Hurricane Irene donation of $150 in Stop and Shop gift certificates to local residents

  6. October 2011 • UNICEF: Students raised $324.00 through trick-or-treating • Builders Club members helped sell items for Breast Cancer Awareness during lunches

  7. November 2011 • Middlesex County Foster and Adoptive Services $206.33 • MCFOODS food drive 50+ food bins Got hat? C.F. O.O.D.S. MiddlesexCountyFoodOrganization&OutreachDistributionServices

  8. December 2011 • Gift cards for NJ National Army Guard

  9. January 2012 • A $150 donation was sent to the Daniel P. Ryan Foundation from snack sales profits • Officers made presentations for their charities, members voted to raise money for the SPCA

  10. February 2012 • Make-A-Wish donation of $2500 to sponsor a child’s wish to have a tree house. • $500 raised through Pretzel Sales and donated to the Middlesex County SPCA.

  11. March 2012 • Spring Food drive: Through the Fall and Spring Food Drives, Builders Club collected over 2,500 pounds of food. Food was donated to the Rossmoor Food Bank, local families in our schools as well as:

  12. April 2012 • Spring clean up and prep work for Volleyball Madness.

  13. May 2012 • May Madness volleyball tournament – joint venture with the Student Council. Profits raised went to the Medium Steps charity. Teams that are entering the Volleyball Tournament will be donating food for local food pantries.

  14. June 2012 • We will be holding another Philly Pretzel Sale to benefit the Middlesex County ASPCA
