Introduction 1 • 1 is not enough in many things of life! • 1 parent is not enough! – Eph. 6:2 • Father and Mother are needed! – Gen. 1:26-28 • Male + Female = Offspring “…after his kind…” • Gen. 1:11,12, 21, 24, 25 • The natural law of Procreation • 1 vehicle may not be enough! • Some need 2 or more! • 1 shoe is not enough! • Need 2 – one for each foot! • 1 foot, leg, eye, ear, arm, hand is not enough! • Need both! – 1 Cor. 12:14-26 • But, God says that 1 is enough in some cases!

Ephesians 4:1-6 1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

  5. Sacrifice for sin is Enough! 1 • “…Christ was once offered…” • Heb. 9:23-28 • Sacrifices of the law not sufficient • Heb. 10:1-14; 7:22-28; 9:1-12; 1 Pet. 3:18 • There is no need for observance of the Law of Moses!

Deliverance of the Faith Enough! 1 • “the faith which was once delivered…” • Jude 3 • Once = “hapax” Gk. • “one (or a single) time (numerically or conclusively):--once.” - Strong • 2 Tim. 3:14-17; 2 Pet. 1:3 • Jn. 14:26; 15:26; 16:7, 13 • The ONE“once delivered” faith of Christ is sufficient! • NO OTHER “revelations” are needed!

Judgment Day is Enough! 1 • Jesus is the righteous judge! • 2 Tim. 4:8 • He will judge the world! • Acts 17:30-31; Rom 14:10; 2 Cor. 5:10 • Every eye will see Him! • Rev. 1:7; Matt. 24:30; Acts 1:11 • 2 Thess. 1:6-11 • All shall hear His voice! • John 5:28-29 • There is only ONE final judgment day!

Husband-Wife is Enough! 1 • God ordained marriage from the beginning! • Matt. 19:3-6; Gen. 2:24 • Marriage is honorable! • Heb 13:4 - (ASV) “Let marriage be had in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.” • One of the qualifications of elders & deacons! • 1 Tim. 3:2; 12; Tit. 1:6 • All Marriages are NOT honorable! • Society has dishonored & disgraced this institution! • 1 Cor. 7:1-2; Mk. 6:14-29 • Cass Sunstein, Obama’s regulatory Czar • Only marriages meeting God’s approval are honorable!

Matt. 19:9 - Mark 6:18 Not This Herodias Herod “For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her. For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife”(Mark 6:17, 18).

Who Does God Permit To Marry? • Only a MAN and a WOMAN! • Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:3-6 • Those who have never married! • Matt. 19:4-5;Heb 13:4; 1 Cor. 7:9, 28 • One whose mate has died! • Rom. 7:3 • One who putaway their mate for fornication! • Matt 19:9 • Those reconciling a lawful marriage! • 1 Cor. 7:11 No Other Marriages Honor God’s Marriage Law!
