  3. What do we want to achieve? • A higher level of education for democracy • How do we achieve it? • Developing a model of student participation in school democracy

  4. Who does that? All stakeholders + most direct subject for whom the edcationexsist – the student

  5. Why we need a model? Promotes equality, respect and acceptance of differences Encourages cooperation and common participation Developessocial skills and critical thinking Createsa sence of responsibility and sensitivity towards their own and other’s needs

  6. Vision Implementing the model on state level Mission Achieving a higher level of democratization in the work of the school

Democratization of teaching process- appropriately informed students- opportunities for expressing student’s views- involvment/ Participation in making decisions goal 2.
