El diseño grafico en sus orígenes denominado Dibujo Publicitario, ha evolucionado enormemente con la inclusión de la informática, la cual es una herramienta más; pero indispensable en la actualidad. El objetivo en el cual finalizar un trabajo se ha ampliado enormemente con la inclusión de las distintas tecnologías y el crecimiento del merchandising. Originalmente un trabajo estaba orientado mayormente a la impresión offset, pero en la actualidad el diseño grafico es una comunicación visual mucho más integral y transversal, el cual puede abarcar diversos rubros y soportes.
