Our BSc (Hons) degree will provide you with the best possible start to your career in nutrition. Whether you wish to provide personalised advice to clients in clinical practice, run corporate seminars or workshops, educate and inspire others, or offer retreats; the opportunities for a career in this field continue to grow. Nutrition is one of the most exciting areas in science today. Discover how recent findings have turned conventional wisdom on its head. In this series of 3 lessons our guest lecturer, Ben Brown, will explore topics such as how nutrition can literally transform your genetics and physiology, why the way we think about calories, fat, protein and sugar has changed, etc Studying with BCNH Flexible Learning We have designed our programme with flexibility in mind. Our teaching is based on active blended learning, combining ‘live’ real- time sessions online with activities which can be undertaken at a time you choose. The part-time nature of our programme allows students to complete their studies alongside work or family commitments. 

  2. Fees & Funding Your Studies The BSc (Hons) Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine is a qualifying course for student finance. To check whether you are eligible see https://www.gov.uk/student-?nance/who-quali?es How do I apply? To apply for one of our courses, you need to complete our Application Form. Excellent Student Support We recognise that juggling degree-level studies with other commitments is challenging and we ensure that all our students are supported from the very beginning. For example, each BCNH student is allocated a personal tutor who provides academic and pastoral support and who will work particularly closely with them at the start of the programme. Module leaders will also provide module-specific support and each academic year is also overseen by a Level Leader who provides an additional level of support when required. Accreditations The BSc (Hons) Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine is accredited by the Nutritional Therapy Education Commission (NTEC).  Graduates of NTEC accredited courses can apply for fast-track entry to the professional register held by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), which is supported by the Department of Health.
