About him… • (1921 26 April- 1998, Singapore) • was a long-serving police officer • a spy from Allied force. • was educated at St Joseph’s Institution and always aspired to become a policeman. • In 1939, he joined the Straits Settlements Police Force as a constable . • In 1941,he was posted to Alor Gajah, Malacca as an inspector..

  3. What had he done? • Disguised himself as a vegetable seller.

  4. How he contributed during the Japanese Occupation and the war? • During the Japanese occupation by storing classified documents which provides information about Japanese troops and their weapons from the Indian National Army, and secretly used an illegal radio for gathering and shares news about the war which the Japanese censored.

  5. What is sacrifice and how he demonstrates that? Sacrifice-willingly to stop having something you want by doing some things. • He risked his life to steal the documents.
