  2. Heavy Pockets • Tuition has increased by at least 30% in the last three years • Increased fees across the board (Parking Decals, Rent, etc.) • Library Fees • Students fill that they aren’t getting their dollar’s worth • Make things visible to the average student • Students don’t see one fee

Keeping the Best • 1st ,we must take care of the students and faculty and staff that we currently have • 2nd, we must recruit and retain quality students, faculty, and staff throughout the nation • 3rd, we must attract quality students & professors within our borders • All these things should be supported by our state

  4. Ice Age to New Age • Student Web Access • Professor Profile/ Evaluation • Grades Online • Fee Cost Online • Student Messaging System (Entire Campus)

  5. Let’s Talk about the Mocs Card • Let’s Get the Vending Machines Working • Introduce a University Bank • Have it serve as a debit card for the bank • Have it serve as an identifier

  6. The TIME has come for Student Teacher Evaluations! • A new evaluation form created by students and faculty • A published version online • Online Evaluation linked to the teacher’s name on the time table.

  7. Let’s Encourage, Not Discourage • Better communication of student issues • Keep Freshman Seminar Classes • Form a Coalition to meet with the UT President • Putting the advising process all on the same page • Increase services on web for students • Better interdepartmental communication • Increased Leadership Development for Students
