The Good & Bad News “Bad” news is…. • Responsibility to upgrade your skills is yours! • Job security isn’t what it used to be • Jobs are becoming more and more non-standard “Good” news is…. • You have a lot more influence on what type of job you want to have, what skills you choose to develop and how you want to shape your career

  5. Recommendations for job search • Never underestimate importance of networking (and role of social capital) • Don’t just look at the wage but at the TOTAL package • What else does that include?
