PEDS:DM – AL: Summary Points The PEDS:DM-Assessment Level is designed for programs where children are at elevated risk for mental, behavioral, or developmental disorder/delay (early childcare centers; early education centers; early intervention intake; NICU follow-up; etc…). The PEDS:DM-Assessment Level enables a detailed look into each of the following developmental domains: expressive language, receptive language, fine motor, gross motor, self-help, social-emotional, and for older children, math and reading skills. The PEDS:DM-Assessment Level is designed to determine outcomes in all developmental domains, including strengths, and kindergarten readiness rather than cutoff points.
