Circulating flu viruses • Influenza activity is increasing, particularly in some regions • Indication is that we will have an early flu season • H3N2 is the predominant circulating strain • Typically H3N2 seasons are more severe, but too soon to know about severity for this year • Circulating flu viruses are good match with both influenza A and influenza B vaccine strains
