  3. Must be a US citizen • Legal residency of your stat • 18 years old on or before election day • Cannot vote if you have been convicted with a felony and serving time in prison • Cannot vote if you have been declared mentally incompetent Requirements to Vote

Natural-born citizen of United States • Permanent resident of the United States of America for at least 14 years • Can not have served more than one previous term as president • Can not have been impeached by the Senate • Can not have participated in a rebellion against the US • Must be at least 35 years of age Requirements to be a Candidate (President)
