Celebration on the Grand has BIG news for 2014! • Celebration on the Grand and the Amway Fourth of July Family Fireworks will be combined into a two-day event to be held annually on the first Friday and Saturday of July, as part of the city’s new patriotic weekend. • This year’s Celebration on the Grand activities will be held the day of Friday, July 4 and the Amway Family Fireworks event will cap off the weekend shortly after dusk on Saturday, July 5. • Celebration on the Grand welcomes this move and supports the city’s attempt to create a new sustainable model for special events in the city. ”Not only is this a good thematic fit, but the move makes sense for Celebration’s sustainability. ArtPrize, with its enormous success, is best positioned now to be our City’s grand finale before the fall season, so we believe providing more time between events is good for the public.”
