RESEARCH APPROACH & METHODOLOGY • An Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) was conducted to measure level of job satisfaction of executive group of employee in Prolintas Group of Companies. • The objective of this survey is for Prolintas Group’s management to gauge the level of employees satisfaction in the organization. • A total of 121 Prolintas Group employees out of 125 participated in this survey which is a response rate of 96.8%. • The survey consisted of 21 statements divided into 5 sections comprise of about work, career and development, working conditions and environment, working relationship in the Company and remuneration & recognition. • The survey was implemented on 1 November 2011.

  3. FREQUENCY BY DEMOGRAPHY

  4. MEAN SCORES BY DIMENSIONS & GENDER

  5. OVERALL SATISFACTION LEVEL BY JOB POSITION, LENGTH OF SERVICE & AGE

  6. MEANS BY QUESTIONS

  7. SECTION 1 : ABOUT WORK

  8. SECTION 2 : CAREER & DEVELOPMENT

  9. SECTION 3 : WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT

  10. SECTION 4 : WORKING RELATIONSHIP IN THE COMPANY

  11. SECTION 5 : REMUNERATION & RECOGNITION

  12. OVERALL SATISFACTION SURVEY RESULTS Neutral 13.5% Positive 84.5%

  13. CORRELATIONS The highlighted output confirm that the result of the scatter plot in that a significant positive relationship between Career Development & Remuneration and Recognition (r=0.744). Based on that, 74.4% respondent agreed that Career Development has a correlation on the Remuneration & Recognition. y=mx+c

  14. CORRELATIONS The proposed path model above was tested using SPSS. The purpose of developing the path diagram was to estimate the strength of each relationship depicted in the path diagram. It calculated the strength of the relationship using correlation or covariance matrix as the input.

  15. REGRESSION (IS THE BEST FIT LINE BASED ON COST OF EFFECT CORRELATION) All independent variables together explain 64 percent of the variance in job satisfaction., which is highly significant as indicated by the F-value. An examination of the T-values indicates that Section 5 (Remuneration & Recognition) contributes to the job satisfaction level. From the scatter plot of residual against predicted values, we can see that there is no clear relationship between the residuals and the predicted values, consistent with the assumption of linearity. The normal plot of regression standardized residuals for the dependent variable also indicates a relatively normal distribution. In conclusion, we can say that Section 5 (Remuneration & Recognition) significantly predicts job satisfaction level. However, other variables allocated are not significant predictors.

  16. CONCLUSION Independence Variable Formula Regression :- y f(Satisfaction) = f(.479) + f(.312) + f(.120) + f(.010) + f(-.045) Overall Satisfaction = Remuneration & Recognition + Career & Development + Working Relation In The Company + Working Condition & Environment + About Work Dependence Variable Remuneration & Recognition Overall Satisfaction .479 Career & Development .312 Working Relation In The Company From the survey, the overall satisfaction is highly correlated with Remuneration & Recognition then followed by Career & Development, Working Condition & Environment, Working Relationship In The Company and lastly About Work. In conclusion, we can say that in order for the company to have satisfied and dedicated employees who can highly contribute to the company’s success, the Management of PROLINTAS needs to focus on areas to be improved by analyzing on the feedback given by the employees as follows:- 1. Remuneration & Recognition – i.e Benefits Reviews 2. Career & Development - i.e Promotion Exercise & Training & Development Activity 3. Working Relationship In The Company – i.e Teambuilding & Employees Gathering Function 4. Working Conditions & Environment – i.e Comfortable Working Space & Updated Technologies 5. About Work – i.e Functional Training .120 Working Condition & Environment .010 About Work -.045
