Our plan: • To measure the divergence of the magnetic field from the solar surface to coronal heights • Estimate the boundary of slow and fast solar wind • We will analyze different data sets (LASCO C2, SOHO/EIT, STEREO COR2 and COR1) and compare with IPS data. • Learn magnetic divergence model e.g., Wang-Sheely-Arge model.

  3. Difficulty: • Determine the boundary of slow and fast solar wind during solar minimum (31st March 2009) and maximum. • Determine the parameters needed to calculate the velocity of solar wind at 5Rsun .
