In 1860 ,a place marked in time for war, called for a new era of ships, Ironclads. Iron clads are ships with thick iron plates on them. They were used in a war, an American war, the Civil War . Ironclads were more brown water and green water ships. Brown water ships river ships. Green water ships are coastal ships. In this report I will give more detail on Confederate ironclads especially the C.S.S. Virginia. I will also talk about Union ironclads and especially the U.S.S. Monitor.I HOPE YOU EN9445
